It's 1 a.m. and we are sitting here waiting for managements response on many of the outstanding issues. We got movement on the health care and are ready to accept that piece, which keeps fully paid health care. However we have not heard anything on selectives, including the custodians whom management has proposed dropping to salary range 7. They have also not yet responded tonight on COLA's (the amount, the dates), the floor, our living wage proposals, differentials, contracting out, and background checks... As we get responses I will post more
Update: 4:17 a.m.... bargaining is a very very slow process... i'll write again at 9 a.m. when something happens again.

When I wrote the 9 a.m. thing I was joking. Oddly enough five hours later things heated up. Go figure.
