On September 14th union members will meet with HR to discuss the parameters in which Electricians and Facilities Maintenance Specialists will receive the raingear allowance. The union will be represented by Ron Johnson (FMS), Ken Sorenson (Electrician), and Gary Davis (Electrician).

In order to be considered for SEIU's presidential endorsement a candidate must be willing to 'walk a day in the shoes' of an SEIU member. Contracting Out

What changes would you like to see to the way ODOT contracts out? If you deal with ODOT contracting out you may have some really great ideas that would benefit current ODOT employees and also taxpayers. The politicians are asking for ideas and we are putting together a list on an ODOT conference call this Thursday at 6 p.m. If you are interested email me at barnardt@opeuseiu.org and I will get you the call-in information.
